OBJECTIVES

Science club encourages students to think differently and take initiatives to find out innnovative thinking and practical application.
Science club of our school had conducted various programmes during the academic year 2014-15.The members are selected from grade VI to X.The incharge teachers were Ms.Manju,Ms.Farha and Ms.Lolitha.The following activities were conducted by the club.

CLUB ACTIVITIES DURING 2014-2015

• BIBOX WORKSHOP-An innovative workshop was conducted by BIBOX on 1st October 2014.44 childrens participated in the workshop.The theme of the workshop was ‘Health Care’.The workshop triggered scientific curiosity and scientific temper of the children.A class on robotics was given by 4 engineers from IT sector and one full day training was given to 40 students on the same topic.

• SPACE WEEK CELEBRATIONS-Various events were organised for the students-Colouring Competitions,Space Quiz,Display Board Competitions,ISRO Developments-‘Yesterday ,Today and Tommorrow’,Film Show-Two experts from ISRO took class about ISRO.Ms Farha took class about ISRO.Ms Farha took class for teachers on the topic-Mangalyaan(Mars Orbiter Mission) on 24th September.

• Vision 2014-15-An exhibition was conducted in the November.Winners were given prizes.
